One Community. One Program.

The Grant Men’s Lacrosse is a co-operative program that currently serves the entire east side of Portland. Any student who attends Grant, or any other eastside PPS high school, or lives on the eastside and attends a private school that does not offer lacrosse is eligible to play for Grant.

Our program's affiliated youth club is Eastside Portland Lacrosse (EPL), the youth lacrosse organization serving elementary and middle school players across Portland’s eastside.

Many EPL players continue their lacrosse journey at Grant, building on the friendships, skills, and love of the game they developed early on.

Together, we’re building a strong, inclusive lacrosse community—from youth lacrosse all the way through high school.

New to lacrosse? You’re welcome here too.
Whether you’ve been playing for years or are just getting started, our program is built to support players at every level.

Who Can Play for Grant?

As of 2026 The Grant Lacrosse program is open to players who will attend:

  • Grant

  • McDaniel

  • Cleveland

  • Franklin

  • Jefferson

  • Roosevelt

As well as players attending eastside schools without a lacrosse program, or private schools on the eastside that do not offer lacrosse.

We are currently working towards standing up a Cleveland Men’s Lacrosse team that will serve the SE PPS high schools once Cleveland is back in its newly remodeled campus.

Off-Season Opportunities

Grant offer opportunities throughout the year to stay connected to the game and keep developing:

  • Summer practices and tournament (open to incoming freshman)

  • Fall ball

  • Pre-season conditioning

  • Winter practices

None of these are required, but they’re a great way to build confidence, improve your game, and feel ready heading into the season.

We recognize that having players from multiple schools can sometimes create challenges for team cohesion, so we intentionally provide these offseason opportunities to help players build relationships, develop chemistry, and feel connected as a team before the season begins.
